# DWARF original asset pack

Jagex Old School RuneScape geometry, HSL palettes and skeletal animation data from OpenRS2 cache 1755 (build 220, 2024-03-20). Source: https://archive.openrs2.org/caches/runescape/1755 . Fan-made presentation; no affiliation with Jagex.

Each JSON retains source model IDs, original indexed topology, HSL colors, vertex groups, face render types and face render priorities. The renderer derives smooth normals from shared source vertices and uses a small depth bias to preserve original coplanar eye layers. A presentation-only stencil test limits the original iris and pupil to white eye pixels that remain visible after skin and eyelid depth testing. This follows the camera angle rather than a fixed 2D outline; original mesh coordinates, iris color and pupil geometry remain unchanged. Fitted parts also retain source coordinates/groups alongside their transformed presentation. Body meshes contain baked frames of native dwarf sequences 101 (idle, 4 frames) and 98 (walk, 8 frames), with 20 ms ticks. The full canonical dwarf/Thurgo assembly supplies shared joint pivots so modular pieces use consistent transforms. Original chathead meshes are static. Fitted hats/tools use original player wearable geometry, with fitting and source item IDs recorded per part. They are adapted assets, not new original NPC equipment.

Wave (sequence 863, 15 frames) and Cheer (862, 21 frames) are adapted original player emotes, not native dwarf NPC animations. The original player framemap 0 was retargeted to dwarf shoulder/elbow/hand/head/hip/knee/foot labels after checking real identity-kit vertex-group locations. Translation offsets use 75% of player distance; rotations and frame timing are original. All selected parts share canonical body pivots; cape groups follow the torso in these adapted emotes. The original labels remain stored in vertexGroups. The source emote IDs are also documented in the developer reference https://rune-server.org/threads/lightrune-emotes.428822/ .

Faces and beards are integral source meshes; the interface labels them together. Palette options do not count as different silhouettes. Standard and Thurgo have separate body proportions and compatible clothing sets; repeated family files are rig-specific variants, not additional source meshes.
